Sandoz, a pharmaceutical company, recalled Losartan Potassium and Ezetimibe, prescription drugs, because of issues with the bottles. The bottles were found to have faulty lids. About 636,000 bottles were sold with the faulty lids.
The issue with the lids is illegal and violates the Poison Prevention Packaging Act, as it poses a poisoning risk if the drugs are swallowed by a child. The recalled medications were distributed between July 2018 and August 2019. Fortunately, there have been no reported injuries thus far.

Pharmaceutical companies often make very large profits, and when they injure a customer, the customer can obtain compensation from the company for a variety of different types of damages. Typically, the injured party can receive compensation for medical expenses, lost wages, pain and suffering, and more.
